Taunton area amateur radio

Thanks for visiting the web site of the Pilgrim Amateur
Wireless Association. The PAWA has existed for over 30
years and is an ARRL affiliated radio club. The PAWA was
founded as, and continues to be, a general purpose ham
radio club that embraces all amateurs regardless of their
particular interests in ham radio.

Our members have a wide spectrum of talents, including
some who work professionally in the radio field. Between
the PAWA and its individual members, we have in excess
of 10 repeaters on the air throughout southeastern
Massachusetts. The PAWA has been one of a few groups
in Massachusetts with a pioneering effort on 902 FM
repeaters, having acquired many of the so-called “New
Jersey MSF5000’s” in February of 2008.

Please join us at one of our monthly meetings. The general
meeting is the third Friday of each month at 7 PM in the
Stone Conference Room at Morton Hospital. We also have
an informal “Pizza Night” on the first Friday of each month at
7 PM at Papa Gino’s on Winthrop Street in Taunton.
